到了英國，已經是夜晚，正在我擔心沒地方住的時候，迎面走來了一個金發碧眼小男孩。他問我：「你是誰？」「我是一個來自中國男孩，叫王佳鈺；很高興見到你。」他用英語對我說道：「你好我叫傑克很高興認識你，歡迎來到我們英國。」傑克說。傑克邀請我到他家去做客，我高興地答應了。在去傑克家的路上，我發現英國的建築的確金碧輝煌，英國的風景的確優雅迷人。就在這時傑克說：「下車吧！我們到了。」我看到了一座高大而優雅的英式古典建築，眼前是一座木石結構的三層樓房，英式的屋頂，在陡立的房坡上凸出一排閣樓窗。進屋後，傑克帶我來到二樓的一個房門口，對我說：「你今晚就睡在這個房間吧。」就這樣我度過了在英國的第一個夜晚。
第二天一早，傑克帶我去游覽了英國的許多著名建築。英國的哥德式建築成就很高，封建主的城堡有很強的放衛星，城牆很後，有許多塔樓和碉堡，牆內還有高高的核堡。英國居民的半木構式住宅以木柱和木橫當作為構架，並加有裝飾圖案，深色的木樑柱與白牆相間，外觀活潑。不知不覺我的肚子咕咕的叫了起來，我與傑克來到了一家餐館，初到英國，由於中英兩國的飲食方式和習慣不同，我叫了一份中餐，英國的多元文化也反映在吃上，所以中國菜也是倍受歡迎的。吃過午飯後，我們又來到了海邊，突然間聽到了炮聲，我緊張的問傑克這是怎麼回事？傑克告訴我說：「別緊張！這是鳴二十一響禮炮，是我們英國最高的禮儀習俗。」這時夕陽已經偷偷的跑到海里去了。

到達的第二天我們便早早的坐上了巴士前往全世界著名的學府——牛津大學。汽車駛進了英格蘭小鎮，我們下了車，找了半天也沒找到牛津大學，我盼望已久的牛津大學到哪兒去了呢？導游看我們一臉疑惑的樣子，哈哈大笑，解釋道：「英國人都很謙虛，他們不立牌子告訴人們這是什麼學校。其實，我們身邊的這些古建築都是牛津大學，大學沒有專門圍起來的圍牆，每個學院都是穿插在這個牛津小鎮里的，只是每個學院會在大門裡面豎一塊小牌子『某某學院，遊客勿入』。」我們聽了恍然大悟，開始參觀牛津大學。我們邊看邊聽導游講解：「這兒是基督教會學院，基督教會學院是牛津大學中最大的學院，其最引以為傲處就是在近代200年產生了16位英國首相。」接著往前走，導游又指著一處建築說：「這是摩頓學院，它是牛津大學第一個學院，中世紀時就在科學研究領域享有盛名，其同時擁有牛津最古老的學院建築，以及建於公元1378全英格蘭最古老的圖書館……」
下午我們來到了湖區國家公園——溫德米爾。我漫步在柔軟的沙地上，望著湖上迷人的景色，在波光粼粼的湖面上，鴛鴦和野鴨正在嬉水；白天鵝高昂者頭在湖面上游來游去；望向空中，一隻只鳥兒沐浴著陽光自一由自在地飛翔……，岸邊，有幾只白天鵝正在散步，遊客們將食物喂向它們，白天鵝們也不害怕，大大方方地伸長了脖子，去啄食物呢。導游說這兒的人們是從來不會傷害動物的，所以它們也就不害怕人類了。我想回來告訴身邊的朋友們，要保護小動物，保護大自然。
一天的行程很快就結束了，溫馨的開始讓我對未來的行程充滿了美好的期待。那些世界聞名的經典，愛丁堡、溫莎城堡、倫敦塔、大本鍾、威斯敏斯特大教堂、大英博物館、劍橋大學等等，都在我們的旅遊計劃之中。
我的暑假生活一定會因為這次英國之行增添無窮的樂趣。
