暑假出国做义工准备如下：
1，护照：去户口所在地的出入境管理局申领，身份证、户口本(正本、复印件都要，户口本只需复印首页和本人页)、照片4张(网络搜索一下护照照片要求，也可在领证的地方拍快照)。费用200元，领证时才交。申请后10工作日后领取，护照有效期10年;
2，持护照到前往国驻华领事馆申请签证。领事馆有领事区，例如江浙沪皖四省户口的属上海领事馆管辖，东北的都去沈阳领事馆，具体你自己查询一下;
3，签证需要相关材料，各国要求不同，有严格的、有宽松的。去工作的，一般要有对方同意接受你的函件。具体某个国家对中国大陆居民签证的要求，事先必须弄清楚，准备齐全了所有材料才去那里。否则首次拒签后，今后就比较难。
4，现金和银行卡都要准备。去附近的银行换外汇现金携带出境，但不宜过多。在银行办理外汇购汇还款，在国外使用银行卡后，自动按当天外汇牌价购汇后还款，你只要事先在银行账户里有充足的人民币就行了。银行卡中国银行的比较好，还有些与国外银行联名发行的卡则更好(本人出国用浦发银行与美国花旗银行联名发行的卡，觉得比其它卡好用多了)。
5，生活必需品不用太多，国外日用品通常比国内都便宜。
6，欧洲没有喝热水的习惯(咖啡除外)，住的地方都没有暖瓶和煮水的东西。喜欢喝热水或泡茶的，带个小的电水壶。
